Headless body found

Machilipatnam, Mar 3 (UNI) A headless body was found near Bommidailakodu drain culvert at Ghantasalapalem in Krishna district today.

According to police here, G Srinivasa Rao was missing since Monday and his body was found today.

The body was sent to the Government General Hospital for post- mortem.

Police suspect it was a murder.

Debt-ridden man kills wife; commits suicide

Mysore, Mar 3 (UNI) A debt-ridden man murdered his wife, before committing suicide by hanging at Alanahalli village on the outskirts of the city, today. Police said Shivaranju (36) picked up a quarrel with his wife, Manjula (30), demanding her to bring more money from her father's place to clear his loans. Bangalore, Mar 3 (UNI) A local Court today issued summons to Congress MLA from Channapatna C P Yogeswara to appear on April seven in connection with the alleged false information furnished before the Lok Ayukta.
