Four extremists surrender

Agartala, Mar 3 (UNI) Two hardcore militants and two collaborators have surrendered to TSR commandant Soumitra Dhar at Jampaijala.

They were identified as Biralal Kishor Jamatia of Hadukapara, Nayanhari Jamatia of Koraimura, Sailaram Reang and Jagat Sadhan Jamatia.

ENPO observes 'Black Day' over killing of tribals

Kohima, Mar 3 (UNI) The Eastern Nagaland Peoples Organisation (ENPO) today observed 'Black Day' here in protest against the killing of two Konyak tribe boys by the NSCN-IM. The people from Mon, Tuensang, Kiphire and Longleng districts, residing in Kohima, assembled at the MLA Hostel in the morning and held a rally there. World Bank clears Rs 400 cr for J

Jammu, Mar 3 (UNI) The World Bank has cleared Rs 400 crore for upgradation of existing roads in the eight districts of the state, under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) guidelines. Districts of Jammu, Kathua, Rajouri, Anantnag, Baramulla, Budgam, Kargil and Leh would be covered under the world bank project, Roads and Buildings (R&B) Secretary Shailendra Kumar told a high level meeting yesterday. As many as 100 new road projects under PMGSY are being launched in the state.....
