Dry and Sunny day in store on Holi tomorrow

New Delhi, Mar 3 (UNI) It will be a hot Sunny day in Delhi tomorrow on the occasion of Holi festival.

Bright Sunny weather conditions continued in Delhi for the second consecutive day today, resulting in a further rise in maximum temperature to 24.2 Degree Celsius. Though the maximum was still three degrees below normal, the mercury rise neverthless brought some warmth in the air on the eve of Holi, which heralds the onset of summer.

Meanwhile, the minimum, continuing its downwards movement, dropped to 11 Degree C, two degrees below normal.

With the weather office forecasting a continuance of dry and Sunny weather conditions in the coming days, the weather in the capital on the occasion of Holi is expected to be warm.

Night temperatures are expected to witness a fall in the coming days with the weather office predicting rain or snowfall over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh during the next 48 hours under the influence of a feeble western disturbance.

''Night temperatures are likely to fall by two to three Degree Celsius over North India during the next two-three days,''the weather office said.

The met office has also forecast possibility of a partly cloudy sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours. They have also forecast a rise in minimum temperature in Delhi to 12 Degree Celsius tomorrow.

After three days of overcast sky, skies cleared up yesterday, ringing in a bright Sunny day.

Chahal asked to file affidavit to explain absence from court
