Congress MLA rounded up for firing in air

Dehradun, Mar 3 (UNI) A Congress MLA was rounded up by the police for firing in the air in broad day light at Kotwali area here today.

According to the Kotwali police sources, MLA Kunwar Pranav Singh from Luxar constituency of Haridwar district of Uttarakhand was heading towards Dalanwala in his vehicle when another vehicle hit his vehicle.

The infuriated MLA came out of his vehicle and after some verbal exchange took out his pistol and fired in the air. Police after seizing his pistol took him to the Dalanwala police station for interrogation.

Lok Adalt decides 579 cases in HP

Shimla, Mar 3 (UNI) Lok Adalat in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh today decided 579 cases under the Motor Vehicles Act. Out of a total of 1,499 cases brought before the court, it decided 579 cases, an official release said.
