Bilaspur-New Delhi Rajdhani Exp to run faster

Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Mar 3 (UNI) The Bilaspur-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, which runs twice a week, will soon attain a speed of 120 kmph between Bilaspur and Nagpur -- an increase of 15 kmph, South-East Central Railway sources said.

Yesterday's experimental run, which began at 0830 hrs, was successful. Two more experimental runs are scheduled. The train halted at Raipur, Durg and Rajnandgaon and reached Nagpur at 1350 hrs after traversing 413 km. The Railways have decided to enhance the speed of all Rajdhani express trains to 120-130 kmph.

The 2442 New Delhi-Bilaspur Rajdhani Express leaves the national capital on Wednesdays and Thursdays while the 2441 Bilaspur-New Delhi starts on Saturdays and Sundays.

Badal seeks industry help for Punjab's progress
