Hyderabad, Mar 2 (UNI) The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) forced adjournment of the Andhra Pradesh Assmebly twice after its adjournment motions on implemention of a six-point formula for the appointment of Additional Public Prosecutors (APPs) was disallowed today.

TRS members, who carried placards alleging that the six-point formula was not being implemented in the appointment of APPs, trooped into the well of the House and sat on the steps leading to the Speaker's chair.

Soon after the House met for the day, Speaker K R Suresh Reddy announced disallowment of the adjournment notices given by the TDP and the BJP on the rise in prices of Cement, TRS on implementation of six point formula in the appointment of APPs and CPI(M), CPI and MIM on the measures to be taken to overcome the High Court verdict striking down the governments decision unifying the services of teachers and facilitating filling up of vacancies.

The Speaker also disallowed the adjournment motions given notice of by the BSP on neglect by the government in filling up of vacancies in tribal areas and the Janata Party, demanding increase in the wages of beedi workers.

Immediately TRS, CPI, CPI(M) and MIM members rushed to the well and loudly demanded a debate on the teachers issue.

The Speaker repeatedly tried to convince the members that they could discuss the matter for half-an-hour in the House if they give notice.

Asking them to meet him in his chambers so that a time could be fixed, the Speaker also suggested that he could arrange a meeting between the minister concerned and the members so that the issue could be sorted out.

Advising the members to utilise the non-official day, which was meant for the opposition, the Speaker said if the question hour was allowed to be taken up at 1200 hrs, at least one non-official resolution could be taken up.

However, the unrelenting TRS members blocked the proceedings of the House forcing the Speaker to adjourn the proceedings for 15 minutes for the second time.
