Thai Princess to visit India

Bangkok, Mar 2 (UNI) Thailand Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will leave for India March 5 on a six-day official visit during which she will meet Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat.

She will travel to Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. She will also visit schools, museums and historical science centres in India, Thailand Foreign Affairs Ministry officials told UNI.

Princess Sirindhorn will be accompanied by Indian Ambassador to Thailand Latha Reddy during her travel in India. The Princess last visited India in 2005.

PPP splinter group joins ruling PML
