Qintegra Q3 revenue leapfrogs

Chennai, Mar 2 (UNI) Quintegra Solutions Ltd, a leading provider of software solutions and services, has earned a revenue of Rs 17.33 crore in the third quarter of 2006-07, registering a 104 per cent increase over the corresponding quarter last year.

A company release here said the quarterly net profit rose to Rs 1.81 crore, up 91 per cent from corresponding quarter last year and the revenue stood at Rs 17.33 crore as against Rs 8.50 crore for the corresponding period last year.

The net profit was Rs 1.81 crore as against Rs 95 lakh for the same period last year.

Compared to previous quarter ended September 30, 2006, the company's revenue grew by 15 per cent in the third quarter ended December 31 2006 while the net profit jumped by 55 per cent to Rs 1.81 crore from Rs 1.17 crores, it said.

"Our re-organisation and new business model helped us in achieving the above results. We will achieve 50 per cent annual growth in the next three years," said Quintegra Solutions Ltd Chairman and Managing Director Shankarraman Vaidyanathan.

IT sector requires 4 lakh professionals

BSNL targets 2.5 lakh mobile connections in K' taka by month-end

Bangalore, Mar 2 (UNI) Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd's (BSNL) Karnataka circle has set a target of providing 2.5 lakh mobile connections by March this year, BSNL Bangalore Telecom District Principal General Manager S Ramalingam said today. Addressing a press conference here, he said the PSU had invested over Rs 300 crore during 2006-07 to expand its capabilities, including setting up Base Transmission Stations across the state. BSNL Karnataka had set up over 1,400 such stations to improve its mobile services.....

CCL registers profit of Rs 775 crore in the current fiscal

Ranchi, Mar 3(UNI) The Central Coalfields Limited has registered profit of Rs 775 crore in the current fiscal till date and was set to achieve annual target of 42 million tonnes production within the stipulated time. CCL Chairman-cum-Managing Director R P Ritolia today urged the company officials to ensure safety and quality standards while attaining the production target of 85 lakh tonnes.
