M&M launches new Bolero SUV, to cost Rs 4.58 lakh

Mumbai, Mar 2 (UNI) Utility vehicle maker Mahindra&Mahindra (M&M) has launched the new Bolero, the second generation of India's most popular sports-utility vehicle (SUV), with a price tag of Rs 4.58 lakh.

Announcing this, a M&M release here today said the new Bolero has been styled with a wide array of interior and exterior features that appeal to the younger generation of car lovers. The new Bolero sports a host of new features and aesthetics that match the lifestyle aspirations of buyers too.

With this, the Company has reinforced its leadership further in the SUV segment and the Bolero's success in the market is attributed to the Company's commitment to customer centricity. This SUV evolved over the years as the clear favourite across the country, evidence of it being a superior value offering with versatile application across all kinds of terrain and customer needs.

SBH eyes Rs 1 lakh crore business target by March 2008

No registration, no services to BPOs: DoT

New Delhi, Mar 2 (UNI) In a bid to clamp down on 'illegal' use of Internet Telephony, Department of Telecom (DoT) has directed internet service providers (ISPs) to stop providing service to all call centres and business process outsourcings (BPOs) not registered with the Department. While the Telephone Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has not yet completed the consultative process on review of internet services, the DoT has sought to pre-empt TRAI's recommendations by sending out this directive. Government commits Rs 80,000 cr FDI in IT, Telecom sectors

New Delhi, Mar 2 (UNI) The government today said Rs 80,000 crore (19,820 million dollars) have been proposed to be invested in the country's booming telecom and IT sectors, with IBM alone planning to put in six billion dollars for expanding its software and telecom R&D facilities. ''An amount worth Rs 80,000 crore will be invested in the country's IT and telecom sector in two year's time,'' an official statement said. Other investment include SemIndia which has committed three billion dollars.....
