Gaurang Doshi denies all charges

Mumbai, Mar 2 (UNI) Film producer Gaurang Doshi today denied all charges levelled against him by a struggling actress Flora Saini in a complaint filed with Versova Police Station last month.

Fearing his arrest on the complaint lodged by Ms Saini under sections 325, 427 and 506 (II) of Indian Penal Code (IPC), Doshi had filed an Anticipatory Bail Application (ABA) in the Sessions court.

Before the start of hearing, Doshi's advocate filed a fresh affidavit denying all the charges and stated ''Saini is after his money, whatever valuable was with him be returned to her.'' Additional Sessions Court Judge P V Bavkar adjourned the matter till March 8.

Talking to mediapersons after the adjournment, Ms Saini said he (Gaurang) had promised to marry her and that is why she was staying with him since the last one-and-a-half years.

During this period, he took her to South Africa for 15 days and to other parts of the country, including Pune and Delhi.

On February 14 this year, she pressed for marriage. But he got angry and assaulted her. To save her life, she ran from there and went to her parents place in suburban Andheri, she added.
