Dhananjay Jadhav to be Mumbai Police commissioner

Mumbai, Mar 2 (UNI) Dhananjay Jadhav will be the new Mumbai Police Commissioner.

According to official sources, Mr Jadhav, currently holding the post of Pune police commissioner, will take over from his Mumbai counterpart A N Roy as Mumbai police commissioner.

Mr Roy has been promoted as DGP and shifted to Managing Director, police housing while Mr S Chakravarty, who is currently Managing Director, police Housing has been shifted to Homeguards as Director General.

Mr J Y Umranikar, Additional Commissioner, CID Pune will now become the Pune police commissioner.

Hassan Gafoor has been made Additional Police Commissioner Trainng Special Cell while K Subamaniam has been made police Commissioner, Nagpur in place of Mr S P S Yadav who will now be Additional Police Commissioner, CID Pune. Surat, Mar 2 (UNI) The Ministry of External Affairs will soon introduce online passport registration facility in six districts of south Gujarat from March 13, sources today said. 3 UK citizens arrested for withdrawing cash on fake cards

Ahmedabad, Mar 2 (UNI) The Gujarat Police today arrested three British citizens from Western Ahmedabad for withdrawing cash from ATMs on fake international credit cards.
