DCW to raise funds via GDRs, drops FCCB issue

New Delhi, Mar 2 (UNI) Basic chemicals manufacturer, DCW Ltd today said it will issue Global Depository Receipts (GDRs) upto five to seven million dollars in the overseas market.

The company has dropped its earlier proposed FCCB issue, it said in a statement.

However, the company gave no specific reasons for the decision.

New Delhi, Mar 2 (UNI) About 30 entrepreneurship development programmes, 35 motivational campaigns and 20 management development programmes were conducted by the SIDO field institutions in different states in the month of January, an official statement said here today. Rehabilitation policy to be announced in two months: Koda

Hazaribagh, Mar 3 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda today said the long-awaited policy on rehabilitation of the displaced will be announced within two months. Service tax on property rental fully justified: Shome

New Delhi, Mar 2 (UNI) Advisor to Finance Minister Dr Parthasarthi Shome has justified imposition of service tax on property rental income, meant for commercial use and maintained that dividend distribution tax (DDT) has been kept at marginal rate of 15 per cent to give leverage for administrative expenses.
