115 bootleggers arrested from N-W Delhi in 4 days

New Delhi, Mar 2 (UNI) As part of the special drive to check sale of illicit liquor during Holi, police have arrested 115 bootleggers and liquor suppliers from North-West Delhi in the past four days.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (North West Delhi) Manish K Agrawal said 4815 liquor bottles and 35 litres of crude liquor have been recovered from them.

He said the arrests have been made under the Excise Act.

During the current year, 644 people have been booked till date under the Act as against 520 people during the corresponding period of 2006.

CBI changes advocate in Sajjan Kumar Sikh Riot case

New Delhi, Mar 12 (UNI) A preliminary enquiry into the mysterious death of BIT-Mesra student Abhishek Mishra, who died during an excursion with Railway Minister Lalu Prasad's daughter Ragini and two other friends was registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation today.
