The meteorological office recorded 8.6 mm rainfall in the state capital, bringing down the minimum temperature to 13.2 degrees Celsius from yesterday's 16 degrees Celsius. The rain and thunder storm which hit the city yesterday have brought back the nip in the air.

According to Met office, Ajmer recorded 1.6 mm rainfall, Bhilwara 2, Bharatpur 10.8, Dholpur, Pilani 10, Kota 4.3, Sawai Madhopur 7, Bundi 6.9, Barmer 9.2, Jaisalmer 2, Bikaner 1.2, Churu 5.5 and Ganganagar 3 mm.

The forecast said more rains are likely to occur across the state accompanied with thunder storm over the next 24 hours. The sudden rain is mainly because of western disturbance and development of a cyclonic system.
