Pakistanis had held 1040 Indian fishermen in last 3 years: Chudasma

Gandhinagar, Mar 1 (UNI) Pakistani Coast Guards have, in the last three years, apprehended as many as 1040 Indian fishermen, while they were fishing in the deep sea, state Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasma today revealed in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. In a reply to a written question from BJP MLA Pradeepsinh Jadeja during Question Hour, Mr Chudasma said with the state government seeking Centre's help, as many as 867 fishermen were released by the Pakistani authorities.

In reply to another supplementary, the minister said families of these fishermen were given assistance of Rs 1.11 crore.

RJD stages dharna in Lower House well

Lalu announces Rs 37 crore holi bonus for employees

Patna, Mar 1 (UNI) Railway Minister Lalu Prasad today announced a SUM of Rs 37 crores as bonus for the employees for earning a huge profit of Rs 20,000 crores, on the occasion of Holi. Bandh disrupts life in Arunachal's capital

Itanagar, Mar 1 (UNI) Life came to standstill here today following a 10 hour 'Capital Complex' bandh called by the Papum Pare District Youth Welfare Society (PPDYWS).
