Moderate quake in Indonesia

New Delhi, Mar 1 (UNI) An earthquake of moderate intensity shook Indonesia's Northern Sumatra early today.

The quake, measuring 5.4 on the Richter Scale, occurred at 0731 hrs, India Meteorological Department said here.

It was epicentred at 3.6 degree North Latitude and 96.5 degree East Longtitude.

One policeman killed, 7 others injured in UP road mishap

Hathras, Mar 1 (UNI) At least one policeman was killed and seven others grievously injured in a road accident in this district of Uttar Pradesh today. Police said the mishap occurred near Hathras junction, when the driver of an jeep lost control over the wheels. Reconstruct Dharampur-Sabathu Bridge

Solan, Mar 1 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Government has directed the Railway authorities to re-construct the Dharampur-Sabathu Bridge at the earliest for which a sum of Rs 10 lakh had already been released.
