Lorry runs over four people

Bijapur, Karnataka, Mar 1 (UNI) Four people were killed when a lorry ran over them near Golasangi on national highway-13 in this district, today.

Police said the mishap occurred when the victims were chatting after parking their two-wheelers along the roadside.

The four people died on the spot, police added.

Bangalore, Mar 1 (UNI) In a shocking incident, stray dogs devoured a four-year-old boy to death in a city locality, triggering protests by the people against the increasing menace of stray dogs and ''inaction'' by the Corporation authorities. Mangalore, Mar 2 (UNI) Air India Express' tri-weekly international flight service between Mangalore and Dubai would be operated five days a week from today.
