Kottayam, Mar 1 (UNI) The fifth state conference of the Kerala Karshaka Federation will be held here on March 3 and 4.

Federation President K R Aravindakshan told newsmen here today that Communist Marxist Party (CMP) General Secretary M V Raghavan will inaugurate the delegates session.

Leader of the Opposition in the State Assembly Oommen Chandy will inaugurate a seminar on March 4.

Mumbai, Mar 3 (UNI) The Railways created a record of sorts by selling 57,000 tickets online and collecting maximum earnings on a single day on March 1. A Western Railway (WR) release here today said the booking was most likely the single largest transaction on the internet by any organisation in India on a single day.
