Gold, Silver decline further

Mumbai, Mar 1 (UNI) Spot Gold and Silver today declined further on weak global advices in the closing session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following are the closing rates of Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 20,520 (20,550), Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 9,680 (9,715), Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold : Rs 9,730 (9,765).

Page Industries IPO fixed at Rs 360 per equity share

Rupee closes slightly up at 44.25/26 against USD

Mumbai, Mar 1 (UNI) The Rupee today closed modestly higher at 44.25/26 against the US dollar, compared to its previous close of 44.27/28, amid concerns regarding further intervention by the Central Bank to arrest inflation and worries of corporate outflows after yesterday's crash of the BSE Sensex. The Rupee was stuck at the levels of 44.27/28 for major part of the trade amid lack of fresh cues. Forward premia was down by 5-6 paise as exporters were seen selling forwards.....

Call money ends lower at 6.00-6.10 pc

Mumbai, Mar 1 (UNI) Interbank call money today closed lower at 6.00-6.10 per cent, compared with the previous day's cloing of 6.10-6.20 per cent, dealers said. Indian bond yields ended lower yesterday as investors expected last month's fuel price cut to reflect in the latest official inflation data, due tomorrow. The yield on the 10-year bond ended at 7.93 per cent, down from the previous close of 7.98 per cent. It had climbed 11 basis points yesterday after.....
