Centre influencing judiciary for political mileage:SP

New Delhi, Mar 1 (UNI) The Samajwadi Party members today alleged that the Centre was influencing the judiciary to gain political mileage.

As soon as the Lok Sabha reassembled in the post-lunch session, after being adjourned twice, the SP members entered into the well and raised slogans ''Yeh Sarkar Nikammi Hai'' (The Government is useless), ''Tana shahi nahi Chalegi'' (Down with dictatorship).

However, they later went back to their respective seats and party leader Ramji Lal Suman was allowed to speak on the issue.

Mr Suman said there seems to be a conspiracy into the whole episode to malign Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, and that too when the assembly elections were announced.

He claimed that it was done with an eye on the forthcoming elections.

The Supreme Court has directed the CBI to conduct a preliminary inquiry into the alleged disproportionate assets of the Chief Minister and his family members.
