Naval chopper crashes into sea, crew safe

Mumbai, Feb 28 (UNI) A Sea King helicopter of the Indian Navy crashed into the sea this evening but all four crew members are safe.

The helicopter was on a routine training sortie in sea, close to the naval station Kunjali II, according to defence sources.

The two pilots and two crew members managed to evacuate and swam to safety after the helicopter fell into the sea, the defence sources said.

CRPF will have 210 battalions by 2010: IGP

Hyderabad, Feb 28 (UNI) Central Reserve Police Force IGP (Southern Sector) Mallanna Goud today said the force, the largest para-military force in the world, would have 210 battalions by 2010. Presenting the Director General's Commendation disc and certificates for 2005-06 to the personnel, he said there was huge demand from various state governments for more CRPF personnel for maintenance of law and order. Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Mar 3 (UNI) The Bilaspur-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, which runs twice a week, will soon attain a speed of 120 kmph between Bilaspur and Nagpur -- an increase of 15 kmph, South-East Central Railway sources said. Shajapur, MP, Mar 3 (UNI) Labourers from about 50 villages in this district are migrating to neighbouring Rajasthan in search of work. More than 1,000 labourers migrated to Jhalawar over the past ten days.
