Floral Galleria 2007 in Kohima

Kohima, Feb 28 (UNI) Nagaland to conduct a two-day long horticulture event, 'Floral Galleria 2007', here from March eight.

According to official sources, the Galleria is celebrating with the International Women's Day by the horticulture department and the directorate of women development, where the main feature would be flower exhibition.

The categories would be Orchids, both indigenous and hybrids, Liliums, Anthuriams, Roses, Bonsai, dry flowers, annual and on the spot flower arrangement of both dry and fresh flower.

The departments would also open an avenue to showcase the rich indigenous floral wealth of the state by having a separate category of Ferns and foliage as well as flowering plants native to the state, sources said.

10 kg heroin seized in Punjab

Amritsar, Mar 1 (UNI) The Special Narcotics Cell of the Punjab Police today seized 10 kg heroin worth Rs 10 crore in the international market this morning. Bhopal, Mar 1 (UNI) Nineteen people have been arrested over the past five days during busting of sex rackets at different places in Madhya Pradesh.
