Boat capsize toll mounts to five

Jamnagar, Feb 28 (UNI) With the recovery of two more bodies of fishermen from the Arabian sea off Jakhho last night, the toll in the February 15 mishap has risen to five.

Seven fishermen, who had left from Dwarka for fishing in the Arabian Sea on February 15, were reported missing after their boat capsized in the sea.

One body was recovered last Saturday by the Coast Guard during search operations while two other bodies were brought ashore by fellow fishermen on Monday.

Last night, two more bodies were found and the deceased have been identified as Firoz Kadam Thaim (22) and Shabbir Thaim (26). Two more persons are still missing.

Nagpur, Feb 28 (UNI) A fire has been raging for the last two days in a reopened mine of Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) due to spontaneous heating of the coal. The mine is located in Chandrapur district of Vidarbha region of Maharashtra.
