3 killed, 11 injured as jeeps collide head-on

Ajmer, Feb 28 (UNI) Three people were killed and 11 others injured when two jeeps collided head-on in Ajmer district.

According to police, the accident occurred late last night in Nasirabad division of the district. Some people, including one Babu, who travelled to Beawar yesterday to bring back the latter's wife boarded a jeep to return to Nasirabad.

A jeep collided with theirs head-on near Government College.

Police sources said drivers of both the jeeps Sher Singh(30) and Sanjay(28) along with one Nasirabad resident Bhanwar Chand died while 11 others were injured.

Five of the seriously injured have been admitted to Ajmer's Jawahar Lal Nehru Hospital while others have been admitted to the government hospital in Nasirabad.

Winter vacation in Kargil extended, Drass road closed due to snow

Kargil, Feb 28 (UNI) All the educational institutions in Kargil district will remain closed till March 5 because of heavy snowfall leading to the closure of Drass-Kargil road. Anupam Kher to set up acting school in Chandigarh
