Two long distance trains to stop at Nadiad and Anand

Nadiad, Feb 27 (UNI) Ahmedabad-Patna Express and Ahmedabad-Azimabad Express would stop at Nadiad and Anand railway stations from tomorrow.

Many workers from the other states live in Anand and Kheda and they were finding it difficult to catch a train to their native place as they had to go either to Ahmedabad or Vadodara railway stations.

In this connection, a memorandum was submitted to Union minister of state for Petroleum Dinsha Patel who had forwarded it to the railway ministry.

Goa govt to introduce computer aided teaching/learning in schools

Panaji, Feb 27 (UNI) Education Minister Luizinho Faleiro today said the state government was planning to introduce ''computer-aided interactive teaching and learning'' in all schools upto 12th standard. Mr Faleiro told reporters that Ghaziabad-based Jaiprakash Associates software company was preparing software for the project in all subjects. The system, however, was only optional and the department was advised to write to all the schools to elicit their willingness. Each school had to spend Rs 1.2 lakh for securing the software.....

BMC license inspector trapped

Mumbai, Feb 28 (UNI) The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's (BMC) shop and establishment Inspector was trapped by ACB (Anti-Corruption Bureau) sleuths today while accepting a bribe of Rs 1000 from a canteen owner for renewal of his 'Gumasta' license. An ACB official said here that accused Hanumant Krishna Pawar, who was attached to Shop and Establishment department of the Corporation at N-ward in Ghatkopar, had allegedly demanded Rs 1000 from a canteen owner for renewal of the license.
