Judge stoned in court By a murder convict

Barmer, Feb 27 (UNI) An accused sentenced to life imprisonment for murder today stoned the judge in court who passed the verdict.

The additional district and sessions court (fast track) of Chandra Shekar Sharma sentenced accused Gajaram, charged with double murder for life imprisonment today. On hearing the verdict An agitated Gajaram who was hiding a stone with him threw it on the judge. The stone hit the judge on his shoulder and injured him.

The incident took the police and security personnel by suprise.

They immediately rushed to the help of the judge.

The Convict Gajaran stabed to death two labouers following a qurrel in 2004.

CBI opposes Dutt plea on probation report;hearing deferred to Mar 5

Mumbai, Feb 28 (UNI) CBI today strongly opposed Filmstar and blast convict Sanjay Dutt's bail plea seeking direction to call for a Probation Officer's report while considering his application under the Probation of Offender's Act (POA) and deferred the hearing till March 5.
