Human skull recovered from abandoned place in Gujarat

Rajkot, Feb 27 (UNI) The police have recovered a human skull from an abandoned place on Jamnagar road here.

Police today said they found the skull last evening after a dog dragged it from a nearby thick wood on Jamnagar road behind Railway colony.

Police has sent the skull to Forensic Scientific Laboratory (FSL) for a detailed investigation to determine the gender of the skull and to ascertain whether it was a case of murder or not, police added.

Nine teachers suspended for ''helping'' examinees

Koderma, Feb 27 (UNI) Nine teachers were suspended today allegedly for helping students to cheat in the ongoing matriculation examination, in Jharkhand's Koderma district. Regional deputy director of education, Nagendra Thakur said a departmental inquiry would be initiated against them. The first sitting examination of the centre was also cancelled. HC allows Varma to release his 'Nishabd"

New Delhi, Feb 27 (UNI) The Delhi High Court today allowed Bollywood director Ram Gopal Varma to release his controversial Amitabh Bachchan starrer film 'Nishabd' on Friday. Justice A K Sikri said, ''Injunction of the nature pressed by the plaintiff can not be granted at this stage when it approached the court barely 10 days before the proposed release of the film.''
