Bibi Jagir Kaur loses to Sukhpal Singh Khera of Congress

Chandigarh, Feb 27 (UNI) Former Shiromani Akali Dal chief Bibi Jagir Kaur of the Akali Dal lost the Bholath assembly seat in the Kapurthala district of Punjab to Congress candidate Sukhpal Singh Khera.

Khera, son of former Akali minister Sukhjinder Singh, has won the seat after suffering losses in two consecutive assembly elections.

Congress wrests the prestigious seat.

Satpal Gosain (BJP) was declared elected from Ludhiana East assembly constituency of Punjab.

Icfai moots for council to regulate CFA profession
