Bharti clarifies 15% stake for Saudi mobile licence

New Delhi, Feb 27 (UNI) Bharti Airtel today said it is supporting the Saudi led consortium with a minority stake of 15 per cent for the Saudi Arabia's third mobile licence.

Bharti had formed consortium with local partner 'Samawat' for the bid of GSM licence.

Denying certain section of reports, the company today said its principal role will be to provide comprehensive management services including negotiation with vendors, roll out of networks, brand building and distribution, setting up management processes and providing training and development.

Bharti Airtel in return will get a management fee in addition to reimbursement of all actual costs, a company statement issued here said.

Battery operated scooters rolled out

Chennai, Feb 27 (UNI) The city-based Kabirdas Motor Company launched four models of environmental friendly zero emission non-polluting scooters here last night. XITE-K101 LA, XITE-K100 LA, XITE K15 SI and Arrow, a series of vehicles, would operate on battery-generated energy. Non-toxic mosquito repellent spray launched

Chennai, Feb 27 (UNI) Leading agro-chemical manufacturing and marketing company Ramcides Chemicals launched 'Stop', a toxic compound-free mosquito repellent spray. Talking to newspersons, Managing Director R Padmanabhan said 'Stop' was a unique and effective 'Aerosol Spray', used exclusively by Indian Army utill recently.
