Air Deccan suspends Delhi-Dehradun flights March one

Bangalore, Feb 27 (UNI) Low cost airline Air Deccan today announced supension of its Delhi-Dehradun flights from March one due to the closure of the Dehradun airport.

Air Deccan in a releae here today said the Dehradun airport was being closed down for upgradation and development of runway and hence would not be available for operations, according to an announcement by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). The flights would be suspended until further notice was received from the AAI it said adding tha full refund would be made to passengers who had booked their tickets for the destination.

K'taka Govt to launch new project to check rural migration

Bangalore, Feb 27 (UNI) The Karnataka Government will launch a new project, Town Municipality Councils Infrastructure Development Project, in July to check increased migration from rural areas.
