Six killed in road accident in Jharkhand

Hazaribagh, Feb 26 (UNI) Six people, including four women, were killed and nine other injured when a trekker carrying them collided with a dumper under Vishnugarh police station of the district today.

Police said the accident occurred on Bagodar-Vishnugarh road near Choutha area. Four people died on spot and two succumbed to their injuries in the hospital, they said.

One of the injured had been sent to district Sadar hospital, while the rest were undergoing treatment at the Vishnugarh Referral hospital.

Enraged over the incident, CPI(ML) activists blocked the Bagodar-Vishnugarh road for about three hours, demanding compensation to the victims' families.

Railway budget, a jugglery of data and gimmick: Nitish

Patna, Feb 26 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today described Mr Lalu Prasad's railway budget as a ''jugglery of data with false projection of profit and gimmicks.''
