Seed testing laboratories to be set up in 31 districts

Patna, Feb 26 (UNI) Bihar government today announced to set up seed testing laboratories in 31 districts in the current fiscal.

While replying to starred question of BJP member Giriraj Singh in the Assembly, state agriculture minister Naredra Singh said about five districts already have one seed laboratory each.

Replying to another short notice question of RJD member Mundrika Singh Yadav, Mr Singh said national horticulture mission had been implemented in East Champaran, West Champaran, Vaishali, Samastipur, Purnea, Araria, Kishanganj, Katihar, Bhagalpur, Banka, Munger, Patna, Nalanda and Gaya.

''In current fiscal, Jamui, Khagaria, and Aurangabad districts were included in national horticulture mission,'' he added.

Mr Singh also informed the house that the mission was inmlemented in the remaining 19 districts with its own resources under a new name called 'Mukhya Mantri horticulture mission'.

Son brutally murders father

Tiruchirapalli, Mar 15 (UNI) A senior official of the Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) here was brutually murdered by his teenaged son at home in Ezhil Nagar on the city outskirts late last night over a domestic quarrel. A senior civil manager with the BHEL, Nandagopal (48) used to frequently quarrel with his wife. Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 15 (UNI) Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAS) are all set to introduce the Cybercheck Suite, an indigenously built cyber forensic tool, to help analyse hidden data and prepare substantial evidence against those involved in cyber crimes.
