Proto Infosys to set up Rs 150 cr plant in HP

New Delhi, Feb 26 (UNI) Proto Infosys Ltd today said it will set up a manufacturing facility in Himachal Pradesh for making watergen machine, earthing electrode equipments and dome air from with an investment of Rs 150 crore.

For this, the company's Board has proposed to increase the authorised capital to Rs 25 crore from the existing Rs 5.10 crore and issuing securities of Upto Rs 75 crore by GDR issue, a company statement said.

The company is also mulling to from a subsidiary in Dubai for marketing and manufacturing of its products line.

The name of the company is likely to change to Proto Technologies Ltd, subject to the approval of shareholders and Central Government, it added.

Autoline Ind to acquire Belgium's Stokota's global operations

New Delhi, Feb 26 (UNI) Auto parts manufacturer Autoline Industries Ltd will acquire a 51 per cent stake in the global operations of Belgium's Stokota NV for Rs 66.8 crore in cash and equity. The company will merge Stokota MV Stokota China and Stokota India with itself ''to form a conglomerate that will be a global leader in the manufacture of high-value, low cost automotive components and transportation solutions,'' Autoline Industries said. The move seeks to use the integrated Autoline-Stokota design.....

Sonalika Group to export 5,000 cars by 2008

Shimla, Feb 26 (UNI) The Sonalika Group has said it plans to export over 5,000 cars worth Rs 300 crore by next year. The company has already started export of vehicles to Nepal during the first year of its commercial production, while another lot of vehicles would soon be dispatched to South Africa, a company spokesman yesterday said in a statement here. Orchid on FCCB

Chennai, Feb 26 (UNI)The city-based pharma company Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (Orchid) has recently priced USD 175 million zero coupon Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCB), with an underwriter greenshoe option of USD 25 million. The closing of the offering was expected on February 27, 2007, a company release here today said. Orchid also intended to utilize approximately USD 130 million of the proceeds for repayment of certain outstanding foreign currency loans, and the balance for completing its NPNC.....
