Minimum temperatures fell at one or two places in AP

Hyderabad, Feb 26 (UNI) Minimum temperatures fell at one or two places over Telangana but significantly rose at a few places over Rayalaseema and changed little over Coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Weather remained mainly dry all over the state. The minimum temperatures were significantly below normal at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, below normal at many places over Telangana and at a few places over Rayalaseema, according to weather office here today.

The lowest minimum temperature of 15 degree Celsius was recorded at Arogyavaram, the report said.

Depositors of Margadarshi stage dharna against Govt's action

Tirupati, Feb 26 (UNI) Hundreds of depositers staged a dharna in front of the Revenue Divisional Office (RDO) here today protesting against the Andhra Pradesh government's alleged steps to destabilise Margadarsi Financers. Holding placards and raising slogans against the government demanding stoppage of search operations on Margadarsi Financiers, they took out a procession from the Tilak Road office of Margadarsi to the RDO's office and submitted a memorandum to RDO Babaiah. Panic grips hospital following a bomb scare

Karnal, Feb 22 (UNI) Panic gripped the civil hospital here today following information that a bomb has been planted in the hospital premises. Superintendent of Police Shibas Kaviraj said a letter to this effect was found pasted on the wall of the ramp leading to Gynaecology Ward of the hospital. Police immediately cordoned off the hospital and started a search with help of sniffer dogs to find the bomb. The search was still continuing. A bomb disposal squad has been also.....
