Legal experts authorised to take further action on Cauvery: CM

New Delhi, Feb 26 (UNI) The Karnataka Government has authorised its legal experts to take further action on the Cauvery issue, Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy said here today.

In his brief interaction with newspersons after discussions with Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia, the CM said the All Party Meeting held on February 24 had fully authorised the legal experts to go ahead with their course of action after rejecting the final verdict of the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal.

He said the State Government was seeking time from the Centre to discuss the issue and bring to their attention as to how the state was facing problem and also give out state's view on the final award.

Mr Kumaraswamy further said he would be coming to Delhi again.

Special teams to probe murder cases

Vijayawada, Feb 20 (UNI) City Police Commissioner C V Anand tonight announced the setting up two special investigation teams (SIT) comprising 16 personnel to unravel the mystery behind two murders in the city, including that of a ten-year-old boy.
