Two killed, 5 injured in road accident

Rourkela, Feb 25 (UNI) Two persons were killed and five others injured when a tempo in which they were travelling hit a dumper at Itma, about 70 km from here, today under Badagaon police station.

Police said while one Laxman Themria (38) died on the spot, another passenger identified as Maharagi Teli (40) died on way to Sundergarh headquarters hospital.

Five others received minor injuries. All the seven people were going to Sundergarh to sell vegetables when the mishap occurred, police said.

Madhepura, Feb 25 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today announced that 15,000 new schools would be opened in the state. Sangrur, Mar 10 (UNI) Police today fished out the bullet riddled body of a Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) supporter from the Bhakra canal near Sehna village of the district.
