Pratibha Ind to raise Rs 200cr

New Delhi, Feb 25 (UNI) Pratibha Industries Ltd, engaged in infrastructure business with key focus on water segment, will raise funds worth Rs 200 crore.

The Board of Directors of the firm have approved the fund raising scheme by way of Qualified Institutional Placement or any other suitable way.

The company said it has laid increased emphasis on devising its business strategy on aggressive top line growth, a de-risked business model and increased operational efficiencies.

Last week, it secured a Rs 122 crore contract from Airport Authority of India for construction of New International Terminal Building of Ahmedabad Airport in joint venture with Bangkok's Italian Thai Development Public Company Ltd.

Air Deccan to start flights between Shimla, Delhi from April

Shimla, Feb 25 (UNI) Air Deccan will start regular flights between Shimla and Delhi from April onwards, for promoting tourism in the hilly state and providing better air connectivity between the two important places, official sources said. A meeting between Air Deccan officials and prominent hoteliers was held recently here, in which they decided to start the flights from the tourist season. Five opium smugglers nabbed

Chatra, Mar 11 (UNI) Police arrested five smugglers and recovered about 500 grams of opium from Simaria here today. Police sources said the five were identified as Naresh Saw and Jagdish Saw from Sabono village and Shyamlal Saw, Naresh Saw and Dinesh from Unta village. They were plucking poppy seeds from an opium field in Ranipokhartola in Sabano village here, sources added. The field owner, along with two other smugglers, managegd to escape. Police had registered a case under Narcotics Act.....

Australian trade minister Warren Truss to visit India tomorrow

New Delhi, Feb 25 (UNI) Australian trade minister Warren Truss will lead a 50-member delegation to India for the 16th Joint Business Council (JBC) from February 26 to March 2, to strengthen bilateral relationships between the two countries. According to Mr Truss, India is Australia's 11th largest merchandise trading partner, growing faster than any other top 30 export markets.
