The rains and thundershowers, which hit the Capital this afternoon, followed an overcast sky in Delhi since the morning.

The rain and thundershowers brought down the maximum temperature in the capital by two to three degrees, from 26.4 Degree C yesterday, lending a slight chill to the Delhi air.

Earlier, this morning, the clouds in the skyline led to a sharp rise in minimum temperature to 13.4 Degrees Celsius, from 10.8 degrees C yesterday.
