Jan morcha's door open for all except SP, BJP : Raj Babbar

Varanasi, Feb 25 (UNI) Actor-turned-politician Raj Babbar today said the Jan Morcha's doors for an electoral alliance were open for all political parties except the BJP and the ruling Samajwadi Party.

The Lok Sabha MP from Agra, who is also the Jan Morcha convenor, told newsperons here that ''Jan Morcha's doors for electoral tie-ups in Uttar Pradesh were open for all, except the BJP and SP. While the BJP is an established communal party, the ruling SP is also progressing on the same lines.'' ''We are in talks for seat-sharing with like-minded parties, including the Congress and RLD,'' he added.

Queried about prospects of a Jan Morcha-BSP alliance, Mr Babbar, evading a direct reply, said ''we are against the SP and the BJP.'' The former SP leader while claiming that no future government in UP could be formed without the Jan Morcha's support said in case of no arrangement of seat sharing, was reached with other parties, the party would contest all 403 seats on its own.
