Vitromed Healthcare to set up plant in Jaipur

Jaipur, Feb 24 (UNI) Polymed group, one of the fastest growing companies in the Rs 7,000 crore medical disposable sector has announced the launch of a new plant at the Biotech Park in the Pink City under a new company Vitromed Healthcare today.

Mr Himanshu Baid, managing director of the group sharing the business plans of his new venture said, ''Vitromed Healthcare plant will focus on nutraceutical and skin products based on Aloe Vera.'' He said the company has signed an exclusive agreement with Vitro Naturals of the US and Government of India for technology transfer for mosquito spray, mosquito cream and disinfectant for medical use from medicinal plants.

The prodcuts will be produced and exported to Europe and the US with the existing Polymed network over 50 countries.

Polymed a leading manufacturers of medical devices and disposables established in 1995 has a turnover of over Rs 90 crore.

It presently has manufacturing facilities at Bhallabgarh, Haridwar and one joint venture in project Egypt. The compnay has also acquired a US company to cater to the burgeoning demand in the US market, Mr Baid said.

India PC market records 25 per cent Y-o-Y growth

SEBI bars Atlanta promoters from buying, selling shares

Mumbai, Feb 25 (UNI) Market regulator SEBI has barred promoters of Atlanta from buying or selling shares in the company with immediate effect. The SEBI, in its preliminary order, has said the promoters, Rajhoo Bbarot and family, have allegedly misused public funds as indicated by the accounting irregularites in the company's books. The SEBI has initiated formal investigations in the case and has directed the exchanges not to approve the listing of Atlanta's convertible warrants. Atlanta had got listed.....

KHS Machinery's of German set up its production base in India

Ahmedabad, Feb 25 (UNI) Multinational KHS AG of German, a filling and packaging equipment company, has expanded its operation in India and set up a new facility here with an investment of Rs 40 crore. The company had been operating in India for the past ten years and raised its equity in the KHS Machinery Pvt Limited from 60 percent to 89 percent while the remaining 11 percent will be held by its partner Mamata group of companies.
