TeamLease Services awarded 'Samman Patra'

Bangalore, Feb 24 (UNI) TeamLease Services Private Limited, the country's largest staffing solutions firm, was today conferred the prestigious 'Samman Patra' award for 2006-2007 in recognition of its outstanding contribution to service tax revenues.

Company Chief Financial Officer N Venkatraman said in a release here that ''this award is not only a reflection of our current size and rapid growth over the last years, but also complements our consistent position of having and maintaining the highest standards of regulatory and statutory compliances.'' Handing over the award, Chief Commissioner of Central Excise and Service Tax, Bangalore zone, S S Lenka said ''the Samman Patra to TeamLease Services Private Limited is in due recognition of their phenomenal growth and excellent contribution to service tax revenue.

From an amount of Rs 1.02 crore in 2004-2005, TeamLease has contributed a staggering amount of Rs 42.66 crore during 2006-2007 (up to first ten months), he added.
