Precious metals edge up on bullish global advices

Mumbai, Feb 24 (UNI) Precious metals edged up on bullish global advices today in the closing session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following are the closing rates of Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 20,715 (20,470), Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 9,795 (9,720), Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 9,845 (9,770).

Mumbai, Feb 24 (UNI) Spot silver today edged up to 9-1/2 months high by Rs 245 per kg and gold rose by Rs 75 per ten gm on the Bombay Bullion Exchange, Silver fineness opened at 9-1/2 months hihg at Rs 20,720 per kg and closed at Rs 20,715 per kg with a massive gain of Rs 245 from its yesterday's close.
