GPCC nominated Chairmen of various committees

Ahmedabad, Feb 24 (UNI) Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) today announced several appointments on various commitees.

GPCC sources said Narhari Amin, former Deputy Chief Minister has been nominated as Chairman of Campaigning Committee, Siddharth Patel nominated as Chairman of Publicity Committee and Arvind Sanghvi as Chairman of the Manifesto Committee while Rajkumar Gupta will be the Treasurer.

AICC General Secretary B K Hariprasad and GPCC Presient announced the new appointments after getting the approval from Party President Sonia Gandhi, the sources said.

The persons nominated as members of Manifesto committee are Manoharsinh Jadeja, Madhusudan Mistry, Nareshbhai Rawal, Irshad Beg, Dineshbhai Parmar and Ashwinbhai Shah, it added.

GOACAN to observe Consumer Rights Awareness Fortnight

Committee to control price hike is poll gimmick: Kadam

Rs 1500 monthly honorarium demanded for Marathi film veterans

Kolhapur, Feb 27 (UNI) Marathi film veteran artistes should be given Rs 1500 as monthly honorarium, Ajay Sarpotdar, President, Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal(ABMCM) today demanded.
