''The rest of the fleet will be blacklisted.'' VHP to commence Hindu Jagarna Yatra from Nov 20

Vijayawada, Feb 24: The santh mahatmas of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) would commence a month-long 'Hindu Jagarna Yatra' from November 20 for awakening the Hindu society, VHP national secretary Y Raghavulu said.

Talking to sources here, he said about 25,000 mahatmas would tour six lakh villages across the country to propogate stopping of conversions and encourage Sahapanti Bhojana.

Eight injured,100 trapped in UK train crash

London, Feb 24: Eight passengers were seriously injured and more than 100 trapped when a London to Glasgow train derailed in northwest England on Friday, rescue services said.

''Eight people were seriously injured and we have 40 walking wounded accounted for from one of the carriages,'' said Claudine Shacklock, a spokeswoman for the North West Ambulance Service, giving the latest update on the train carrying 180 passengers.

US to expand Indian access to high-tech goods
