Culprits would be arrested soon: Hooda

Panipat, Feb 24 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said those behind the Samjhauta Express blasts would be arrested soon as the probe was going in the right direction.

''Security agencies are probing into the case and the culprits would soon be arrested as the investigation is being made in right direction,'' Mr Hooda said, while talking to reporters after the mass burial of 23 bodies of the blast victims.

However, he said that it would not be proper to divulge more on the issue till the completion of the investigation.

Mr Hooda said the Samjhauta Express blasts were an attack on the peace process and described it as a ''cowardly'' act which should be condemned by all right thinking people.

He said terrorist groups were trying to create a sense of fear among the people to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere by creating differences among Hindus and Muslims.

They intended to spread the venom of casteism, regionalism and religion by affecting mutual understanding among the people but such ill designs of terrorists would never succeed, he added.
