Army Constable commits suicide, no suicide note found

New Delhi, Feb 24 (UNI) A Constable of the Maratha Light Infantry allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself in the Cantonment area of South-West Delhi.

Devra Jagdish, 25 shot himself in the stomach with his service rifle at the guard room last night at about 2230 hrs, said sources.

He was rushed to the Army Research and Referral Hospital where he died after a few hours.

Married and hailing from Maharashtra, Jagdish left no suicide note.

A court of enquiry has been instituted by the Army.

Etawah, Feb 24 (UNI) A woman was allegedly gangraped by three unidentified miscreants in Civil Lines area of this district of Uttar Pradesh. In her complaint, the woman alleged she was criminally assaulted yesterday by three miscreants who had forcibly entered her Civil Lines residence when her husband Sandeep was not at home.
