Success of Composite Dialogue pedicated on Pak commitment:Kalam

New Delhi, Feb 23 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam today reiterated India's concern at infiltration and cross-border terrorism and said the success of the Composite Dialogue Process was predicated on Pakistan fulfilling its commitment not to allow its territory to be used to support terrorism.

In his address to both Houses of Parliament, the President said it was a matter of satisfaction that the dialogue process with Pakistan was progressing steadily.

The Composite Dialogue Process, the Joint Commission and the Anti-Terrorism Institutional Mechanism had provided a structural framework within which all major issues were being discussed.

''We remain concerned over infiltration and cross-border terrorism, and the success of the dialogue is predicated on Pakistan fulfilling its commitment not to permit any territory under its control to be used to support terrorism in any manner,'' he said.

No customer for bird flu vaccine

Bhopal, Feb 24 (UNI) After last year's bird flu outbreak, the High Security Animal Disease Laboratory here has developed a vaccine for H5N1 virus, but nobody has come forward so far for its commercial use or to purchase it, Lab sources said. After round the clock efforts by the scientists, the laboratory, the only institute of its kind in Asia, had developed about one lakh vials of the vaccine since last July. Reservation for migrants cancelled

Indore, Feb 24 (UNI) The Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court has cancelled the state government orders granting reservation benefits to the state cadre IAS and IPS officers belonging to the SC and ST category at par with their native states. A division bench comprising Chief Justice A K Patnaik and Mr Justice J K Maheshwari, in an order issued on Thursday, issued directives for cancelling four circulars issued by the state government. Sex racket busted: 5 arrested

Indore, Feb 24 (UNI) Claiming that a sex racket has been busted, police said five people, including two women from Mumbai, were arrested from a house here last night. The racket being run from a house in the city's Sukhalia area was exposed after few police personnel were sent as decoy customers, Additional Superintendent of Police Manoj Shrivastava said.
