Smruthi Organics bags WHO certificate for APIs in EU

New Delhi, Feb 23 (UNI) Smruthi Organics Ltd has been accredited the Current Good Manufacturing Practices - World Health Organisation (cGMP-WHO) certificate from German health authorities for its active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) for the European Union.

The APIs include Norfloxacin, Carbidopa and Metformin Hydrochloride, a company statement said today.

The certification will enable the company to penetrate business in Europe which is considered a highly regulated and lucrative market.

Sesa Goa secures 9.5% price hike from Japan

New Delhi, Feb 23 (UNI) Country's top private iron ore producer Sesa Goa Ltd has secured a price increase of 9.5 per cent for all its products from Japanese customers for the year 2007-08 over 2006-07 prices. The decision has been taken after the acceptance of Japanese steel mills to increase the price of Australian iron ore for the year 2007-08, a company statement said today.
