Election for JSCWC on March 17

Ranchi, Feb 23 (UNI) Jharkhand State Child Welfare Council (JSCWC) will be its election on March 17, the council's honorary secretary Amit Khare here today said.

Mr Khare, who is also the principal secretary to Governor Syed Sibtey Razi, said the election would be conducted for one post of vice chairman, two honoray joint secretaries and eight council members.

The nomination would be filed from March 12 to 15 and withdrawal of the same would be on March 16.

Mr Alok Kumar Sengupta had been made electoral cum returning officer, Mr Khare added.

Manipur polls counting on Feb 27

Imphal, Feb 24 (UNI) Chief Electoral Officer R R Rashmi said the counting for the recent polls will be held on February 27 in 12 counting centres throughout the state.
