65000 fake currencies recovered in Mizoram

Aizawl, Feb 23 (UNI) Police have recovered Rs 65000 fake Indian currencies of Rs 500 note from the possession of three Mizos here.

Police said the persons were nabbed yesterday.

The accused were identified as Ramliana, Zoramthanga and Daniela, all hailing from outskirts of Aizawl. One of them was remanded to judicial custody today, police said.

''We are investigating the case and nothing has been established yet. We are not ruling out their links with international currency smuggling rackets'', police added.

New Delhi, Feb 26 (UNI) Parcel booking in less popular trains will go down due to downgrading for trains with less than 60 per cent of SLR capacity utilisation in the Railway Budget 2007-08. Barrackpore, Feb 23 (UNI) The Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate court today remanded north local committee president of the DYFI, youth wing of the CPI(M), Ashim Bhowmick, to 14-day judicial custody in a murder case.
